Running from Trump is a bad strategy.

The far, far more likely lesson is that none of these people were ever going to win, and it was clear months ago that was the case.

The far, far more likely is to get out and fricking vote. MAGA is complacent with everything. There are FAR more conservatives in these states than Liberals. Face it, MAGA sat on their asses for these elections.

Trump’s coattails are getting very short. People hate him. They just happen to be in the majority in Virginia, New Jersey and parts of Georgia.

In these two states that have been blue for many years, or decades in NJ’s case, with very limited exception at the statewide level?

How do you figure? 2020 and 2024 were two of the highest turnout elections in the past century and the GOP still fell short both places. NYC and DC have overtaken both places and it’s time to accept that. Are there MAGA Republicans hiding in Fairfax County—possibly the most politically engaged place in the country— that we don’t know about?

I don't know that Trump is as hated as is advertised

I do think

a) people don't really know what Trump is doing right now and it seems like he's constantly switching among priorities (which he is and which impacted his first term too)

b) Trump is just much better (politically) as the opposition/minority than the governing majority, likely in part due to a) and in part due to the general fickle nature of voters.

My concern is mostly that Trump is spending time and energy on things that may not get done and which may not be lasting unless Vance gets elected AND makes those things a priority.

Imagine the arse kicking a likeable candidate would've given Kamala.

How many additional states do you estimate she would have lost?

The tards are out. Wins are so rare for them lately.

Maybe this will make them less inclined to murder Trump.

After all, he has no coattails. Why kill him, right?

Winsome Sears couldn't beat a terrible candidate she destroyed in a debate but she screwed herself by rebuking Trump after the Faux J6 Fedsurrection.

I don't know what the ratio of liberals to conservatives is in those states as I don't reside in any of them, but I get the feeling Trump's lost the independents and most of the centrists. In any state that isn't a hard red-leaning state that could mean loss of most of the offices in the state while he's in office.
