You get Verge.
We can all cross our fingers & hope this works out, but I’ll say this. Firing Scott Woodward to internally promote a guy with baggage, within a week — does not instill confidence that these are serious, competent people following a process or vision.

The “baggage” is made up bullshite. Verge is going to do a great job.

I hope so. I’d love to say we ridin.
And we may indeed.
But if we do it will be because of good luck, not because of good leadership. This is not a criticism of verge.
It is a retrospective analysis of the firing of Brian Kelly to today & all the events that have transpired to lead us to this point. Not the result, but the path to it if you will.

Having that individual as AD is really bad joke on everyone who cares about LSU, not just athletics. He should have gone to prison, but now this? Unless the point is to raze the football program and athletics to the ground, it makes no sense. The man is disgraced for heaven's sake.

Well based on that article it will be national news again this week. LSU and Verge will need to stand firm when he takes the heat again over that.
