I see two folks, one interim and a radio host with limited knowledge of what actually goes on since his rants on O near the firing.
With the ridiculous amounts of reaction farming by Moscona and Palmer, I wouldn’t trust them to tell me the weather or what color the sky was.
I see two people who aren’t going to have a say in the decision try to give the illusion that they have influence.
They don’t. Verge nor Moscona will have a say how this goes down. The comment made last week that this is Verge’s decision was laughable then and still is now. Interims don’t make year long decisions, their powers are limited.

The purported insiders merely said that discussions were ongoing. Never made a claim that anything was close to finalized
Sometimes we want answers so bad that we unknowingly reprocess information and/or context to meet our expectation

You had to be really deluded to think that 74-year-old Nick Saban was going to return to Portal/NIL coaching.
I think it is less than 50-50 we can get Lane Kiffin either. He should stay at Ole Miss for his career. Expectations are so much lower there than LSU or UF.
Just my guesses, but maybe Dillingham or Drinkwitz.
