for trading 2 players away that only were under contract for 8 more games in a season where we are 1-8 right now.

today was a good day.

Love Sheed though, he'll continue to be a star in this league.

This was the rebuild we all asked for. All we can do now is hope the scouting department is being paid to put in overtime on the draft.

Your homerism knows no bounds Chad

Trading away a failed first rounder for pennies on the dollar is yet another indictment of the horrible drafting we’ve done the last few years and why this roster is bottom 3 in the league.

So good more picks…..but the idiot that got us here will be the one making picks

Trying to turn this day into a W for the FO tells you how bad things have gotten

This is like asking Hamas, who started a war, will suddenly become peace warriors overnight….

Good luck with that.

Dude never had over 750 yards in a season but I can see why you think he’s a star compared to your other boy Vele lol. That would make him a superstar

Ok, what would you have him do with the failed 1st rounder that would make it better?

They didn't pick up his 5-year option so again at least they're getting something in return

At best he was an okay run blocker

But he was usually good for one or two penalties a game. So see you later buddy Rowe

Should they have dug their heels in the ground and demanded similar compensation for what they paid for him? His draft position is a sunk cost at this point, the goal is to get anything in return before he walks in FA and signs a "prove it" deal

i feel like saints are wanting to spend some FA money soon and don't want to play the compensatory pick game. Get their "compensatory" picks secured now.

I will blame you for every bad draft pick until you take your talents to Airline highway to direct our scouting and drafting department.

Would be another stupid move.

Maybe we can trade that ‘27 6th for a ‘28 5th, and then that pick for a ‘29 4th and so on. Then in ten years we will have our first back….

Being only $13M in the hole per OTC (do not know if this incudes the $11M available for rollover) means Loomis has all the money in the world to make some big splashes.
