Doug Pederson? Played QB at NLU and lives in Monroe. He played 13 years in the NFL, won a Super Bowl as the Eagles coach and coached the Jags.

Because academics isn’t sports?
Schools with bad football teams do at times have better academic programs. Of course I want the football team to win, but that’s the ADs job. The president needs his hand in it but 90% of his job needs to be making sure that the 2 degrees I got from LSU are worth the paper they are printed on.
