We are going to laugh so hard at LSU.

Of course when they inevitably make their disappointing hire they'll say they were joking and never believed the Saban thing...but look at them...they actually think Saban would even entertain a return to Corndog U at 74. ??

I still lean towards him staying retired but if reports that we are offing $25 million a year for four years are true, he’s a fricking idiot if he’s not seriously considering it and you know it.

Dude, I'm loving this. So many panties wadded to dismiss the idea. Roboto, and stargaze, etc. making a point to be in every thread.

Today I learned Saban is somewhere between 72 and 80. Also only won because Dodge made Chargers.

Saban was declining being 12-2 his last season (under 2 years ago) and making the playoffs semifinals.

These dudes are S-M-R-T smart.

Odds makers just want money. They are preying on some hope from LSU fans to get them to bet. I do absolutely believe they made a call and I believe he politely declined and probably gave them some friendly advice on some guys. He will be 75 next season. Really think about that. And youre talking about starting a new rebuild.

If he was even contemplating it, Ms Terry would have been giving him that cake in his office and he would be on the phone trying to get a staff together. Instead he was in his recliner with a blanket watching football.

Agreed. 75 is hard for a rebuild…. But it’s not the same as it was 20 years ago.

LSU has everything in place to make a quick flip. Just like in 2021/2022.

I don’t think Saban is coming… but the chances are not 0%

I agree, the chances are not zero. The hardest part will be finding coaches. That was a problem he was facing at Bama.
