When it comes to monkeys and Tulane, one can not ever be too safe. There is no doubt in my mind I would have put the monkey down, especially after knowing what is common knowledge regarding Tulane and its monkey business.
quote:

Dr. Mary Sherman was involved in a secret government-funded (CIA) project at the Ochsner Foundation, where she was researching the effects of radiation on cancer cells. Dr. Sherman was not only involved in cancer research but also in a secret programto develop a biological weapon using a cancer-causing virus. Well, back then, some monkeys got loose and it did not end well.

Soon after, Dr. Oschner was named the first President of the American Cancer Society.

Go figger! Yet most of us thought the China Virus was bad!!

Tulane Monkey Business

quote:

By the end of Dr. Mary's Monkey, Haslam has woven a complex web of conspiracy that connects the Kennedy assassination, the spread of cancer, the development of AIDS, and the creation of biological weapons. He suggests that the government, in its quest for power and control, has been willing to sacrifice the lives of its own citizens.

She did the same thing I would have done except I'd have used a rifle and shot once.

I would have imagined if the monkeys were being treated humanely they would stay near the vehicles and wait for their ride back to Tulane like a good monkey is supposed to do.

Of course, I am not saying they are bad monkeys .....

Isn't the Honey Island Swamp Monster a cross between a monkey and an alligator. Obviously the monkey was a genetically altered escapee from a Tulane lab.

I think the monkey killer was obviously aware of the dangerous reputation of a Tulane monkey and her reaction was obviously instinctual.

The unsolved murder of that researcher is one bizarre story.

And something must be in the water at Tulane.
