I'm starting to believe Dumars was brought in to sink fan interest to a level nobody cares

If the franchise is moved to Seattle.

If you look at all the moves with the move to Seattle being the end goal they all make sense.

Bring in a GM who ran a franchise into the ground.

Keep a horrible coach

Make a draft day trade that many consider the worse draft day trade in 20 years.

Trade professional vets for players who just aren't winners.

All of these moves make sense if the end goal is to move the franchise to Seattle

Seattle is not gonna get a relocated team. They’re gonna get an expansion team. The NBA wants to get $5 billion per expansion team. They can get that out of Seattle and Las Vegas, but not many other places.

That's a joke. Griffin hired WG, keep Gundy for one year, and kept Gentry a year. Plus he had a ton of picks at his disposal that he completely wasted. Griffin at best was a day talking used car salesman who talks a lot but says nothing.

Dumars has basically surpassed that in one offseason. Think about how shitty you have to be to do that.

He traded away most likely two top six picks for pick 13.

I don't think average NBA fans realize just how bad those trades were. Trade away Indiana's top four protected pick in 2026 for pick 23 in 2025. Then trade away that pick and you own unprotected pick in 2026 for pick 13.

It's the biggest overpay I've ever seen.

Barstool article reminds me that Dumars wasn't brought in to win, but the league dispatched him to relocate the franchise

Before the season I would say this is nonsense, but the evidence continues to stack up to support it game by game. I made the comment in another thread that Gayle has turned out to be a real life Rachel Phelps (from Major League). I was joking but, again, every day they make it easier to believe.

- Dejounte says he cant even get gym time and implies that the facilities arent available

- players left and right making comments about how the Pels get Saints' leftovers, fly coach, get generally treated like shite by ownership

- the laziest GM replacement search in history, then allow him to install his moronic friend (Weaver) who nearly torpedoed two franchises on his own

- new GMs make some of the dumbest trades imaginable, basically sinking any chance of a draft-based, ground-up rebuild

- entire team quits on coach LAST YEAR, so let's give him another offseason + 12 games this year to.... do what exactly?

- team doesn't even bother to run fan promotion games this year until being pressured to do so by people on social media

- Amid sinking attendance numbers, ticket and concession prices are INCREASED

- the best we can come up with for a local TV solution requires me to go to Radio Shack and mount an antenna on my roof

I’ll sort of agree with everything except this.

They have multiple ways of getting the games, DTV, Cox, i think there’s other streaming services/cable companies, online subscription.

One thing there is is better availability to watch the games

It’s wild that the odds for an NBA player to get a triple double in a game is -150.

He’s great and the Pels suck.

To be fair, Jokic is more likely to get a triple double against any team in the league than he is likely to not get one.

Mind boggling how he lasted to the 2nd round

Didn’t realize fat boy was playing tonight. Hopefully he can finish the game without getting hurt again.
