The consistent batting order appears to be:

Lane Kiffin
Eli Drinkwitz

I believe the search ends with either 1 or 2. And keep in mind a lot of these were updated today.

Sumrall seems to have dropped off quite a few.

Drink is not my favorite. But at least his teams play hard.

Seems like LSU should hire Mizzou AD, since everytime there coach vacancy, Mizzou coaches come up on list, so he must be good at hiring the right people

Why not? What do we need that he doesn’t have? I’m genuinely curious. He wouldn’t be my 1st (2nd or 3rd either), but expand on these takes. Otherwise, we can’t really discuss it. I may agree with you. But I do know we could do a whole lot worse. I think he clearly has a high floor at the very least.

There is a good case that Drink is a better hire than Kiffin.

Why this obsession with other high priced SEC coaches that are going to demand guarantees and upwards of 8 figures????? Setting yourselves up for disappointment.

If you want a good value look at the Memphis coach, Ryan Silverfield

I would argue that LSU should not be settling for a “value” coach under any circumstances.

I like Drink a lot. A little on the goofy side but he can flat out coach.

Yeah!!!!!!Because paying for known "quality" worked out soooooo well that the last guy is 40 million richer with at least 27 million additional coming to him for sitting on his arse.

We can't afford to hire another Jewish coach. Didn't Curly Hallman teach us this?
