This guy should have 60% of the decision, and everyone else should split the other 40%. He is a huge donor, played for LSU, his son plays for LSU, he is very smart (President of Bollinger Shipyards), he knows football, and bleeds purple and gold.

Who is Ben Berthelot? His name isn’t mentioned in your excerpt.

A hospital CEO is included. The same hospital that laundered money to Vadal Alexander’s dad.

This is as Louisiana as it gets

Just the kind of guy who understands LSU football.

No legit coach candidate is going to want to join an athletic department who wasn’t hired by the AD. Our best bet is to hire a very qualified and legitimate AD immediately following the new president announcement and let them lead the charge.

I’ve a strong suspicion LSU will have a new president and new AD soon, and before a HC is hired.

This committee is only a temporary placeholder for the process.

Might as well put some common sense on that committee...

The very first thing I noticed. Among other issues with OLOL in recent years. Why is it that LSU and OLOL are connected at the hip in recent years? I just can't discern whether it's a good thing or a bad thing.
