Here’s the facts.
Woodward has LSU athletics responsible for the number 2 and number 8 buy outs in history. Costing ~$70 million combined.
He gave $6million to a DC without even asking how the interview went.
He was WAY behind on NIL letting Ole miss and tamu etc pass us by.
Yet you want him to keep on keeping on

Well, we shall see. If we end up with the likes of a Billy Napier as the next head coach, will you publicly have your crow?

New AD from SLU, McNeese or ULL
A head coach that Arkansas might have passed on.
This is the future Landry has created. We'll see who the real sky screamers are in the next couple months.

Landry Bots vs ANTI Landry Bots.
ALL of them out in force!
ALL of them out in force!

They are mad because Landry ran him off. That's the only reason. All the people griping, either started threads or were ranting on threads after Vandy saying Kelly and Woodward needed to go.

Care to refute anything I said?
Do you think if you made a $70 million mistake your boss would say it’s ok keep swinging tiger?
And it’s not “just the cost of doing business”
Are any ADs up there in the top 10 buyouts in history twice and could easily be considered for a third?
Reminder that the original contract Scott made for jimbo would have been the largest buyout in history prior to this year even without the extension.

I care because there is absolutely donor fatigue as well as caring that he seems to suck at picking a head coach for football.

My boss would have been the one approving my recommendation. Are you saying Woodward acted alone with no oversight?

This is the laziest excuse ever.
He is the ATHLETIC DIRECTOR.
That means the president defers to him on athletic matters and hiring for athletics.
Woodward says this is the best we can do at the best price people say ok.
Also said boss has already been pushed out as well.

Bro - I am focused on Landry's public statements and appearances on national television / radio over the last 72 hours.
Unprecedented display of arrogance, ignorance, and lack of self-awareness. He absolutely embarrassed LSU, and very much jeopardized the future prospects of LSU Athletics.
Moving forward without Woodward is understandable, however the manner in which the Governor interjected himself is not.
Many people, including myself, are furious with Jeff Landry because he used LSU Athletics as a platform to try to promote himself and his political aspirations.

How many national titles?

Can we get a Jeff Landry board and move all these there?
Posted on 10/31/25 at 12:32 pm to Bruce Lee
I say this as someone that voted for him while knowing what im about to say: the guy is a clown, a caricature that wants to be like Trump. He jist loves to hear himself speak. Whatever damage he does to the state and/or LSU will not be permanent, and they may be better off in the long run because of it.
