Would you rather Landry? Carmouche is a pretty smart guy and knows how to negotiate.
I would however caution against putting any real power in his hands. He's not accountable, his money makes him unaccountable. At least Woodward could be held responsible.....Carmouche could tank the hire, and then, so what?
But, hey if you think putting the money people in charge of the process is the way to go, have at it. But you'll have no room to bitch and complain, and you'll still go to the games and leave midway through the third quarter win or lose......gotta beat da traffic

I can promise you I know for a fact the Carmouches have been looking after LSU and LSU players for a long time.

Not people that play like they are important running sports programs agreeing to these ridiculous contracts bc all they are worried about is the headlines and their 15 minutes of fame

Carmouche said that he was head of the Athletics Committee of the Board of Supervisors.

- That he is in charge of the search committee for an AD or coach
- That he is in charge of any committee within the Athletic Department
