Let's get some info straight

The firing of BK was needed and warranted.
The firing of SW was inevitable and THE DECISION was made not after the governor talked but was done SATURDAY NIGHT.
THE GOVERNOR is grand standing on stuff he had no real influence on but because we have no President yet he is taking the credit.
LSU and its BOS has never done anything without a plan sooo everyone take a breath and just watch what happens and trust the process! We will be better for it with a new Prez, AD and Head Coach!

When did they develop this plan bc no one expected us to be without a head coach or AD on 10/32/25.

This much is absolutely true. With a new president coming in, Woodward’s fate was sealed. Timing was the only issue. And regardless of Landry running his mouth, Woodward was not going to be choosing the new coach.

That’s an impossible timeframe.
Who is no one?? I think it’s obvious that this was in the works & very little of it had to do with Jeff Landry.

Hope you are correct. The optics are bad.
I supported Kelly until recently. It was time to part ways. I thought SW got much more right than wrong and am unsure if his firing is a good thing or not.
I am 100% sure the governor should shut his big mouth!

Yeah I’m not really sure why everyone is freaking out. People just love to bitch and moan. Hopefully we get the Georgia AD.

By all accounts, Kelly wasn’t going to be fired this weekend until something changed on Sunday.
Perhaps firing Scott was being discussed but I highly doubt they expected that to happen in October on the heels of firing the head coach.
So when was this plan formed?

Is the board clairvoyant? Did they know LSU would come out of the first half of the Texas A&M game and get absolutely humiliated?
There was almost certainly a contingency for replacing BK, but probably after the season if he did not make the playoffs.
There may have been a desire to replace Woodward and possibly even a plan, but I doubt it involved firing him in the middle of the season as they kicked off a coaching search so they could put Verge in charge of that.
I find it difficult to believe the Governor's diarrhea of the mouth did not affect at least the timetable.
But some reports I have seen on who they are looking at for AD do seem promising. If it's the McNeese AD then I am less hopeful.
