Let’s recap where we are in the last week

1. We fired Brian Kelly (like many said we wouldn’t)
2. We promoted Frank Wilson to interim and the team appears to be rallying. No opt outs and no recruits lost
3. We fired the AD that brought us Kelly. You can argue whether that was good but we will have a new President soon who likely wants their AD
So what next? We will have a new President and AD within a week. Then we will have a President, AD and Boatd of Supervisors united in finding us a head coach.
All the other crap is meaningless noise that is irrelevant

Hehehe, I could see that airing. But what if (strictly hypothetical) this is some whacked out plan to get Harbaugh here by the gov and his financial backers? Would the rant be happy or at least optimistic? I’d be impressed and gladly eat my crow pie.

This is laughable. You're talking about the whores who would sell their mother if it meant another dollar to them. Cry me a river with their platitudes. It's all about making LSU pay more because of an over zealous governor.
The market will be what it will be and LSU will get the best coach for the best fit to fill the job.

You’re acting like LSU is the only school that can offer $8 million and a bunch of NIL money. We are going after the top coaches in college football just like every other school.
If you don’t think having a governor that goes all over national media to trash employees of the university can affect potential candidates we’ll just have to agree to disagree.

And our illustrious governor aired our dirty laundry to the whole country to have fun with as he demonstrated how we treat athletic directors and coaches who don’t live up to expectations, as well as calling out agents who both represent and counsel and advise big name coaches and student athletes they represent and have personal relationships with.
Oh man, Louisiana has truly shown its proverbial behind over the past week, you can be sure of that.

I know. You missed the point. The governor’s actions are putting LSU in a worse position when it comes to hiring a new coach.
