I have never been to France.
Paris for a few days.
Hunting in the countryside for a few days (south of Orleans).
Paris again for a few days.
Going to opera and Crazyhorse.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

If you're not going with a woman, that's a lot of time in Paris. The Army museum could be interesting (my favorite attraction in Paris that didn't involve food, budget 3-4 hours). Of course, if you have time to hit Normandy, I'd do it. If you're into it, Paris is decently close to Bastogne and the WWI American Cemetery sort of nearby, I think about a three hour drive, IIRC. I'm guessing you're not into that, but hit the closest American Cemetery you can, they are immaculate and splendid, even in the middle of nowhere.
Ask the front desk or concierge wherever you're staying where they would get breakfast, etc. Most travelers don't do this enough. But when you find someone that gets paid 20 Euro an hour, and they tell you X is always where they get coffee/lunch, it's probably pretty good.
If you are going with a woman, do a night time cruise on the Seine, and play ghetto rap. They're all BYOB, and you will get lucky.

Thanks much
I will have a woman with me.
And a car. I’m not sure if I will have time for Normandy but had never considered other cemeteries that could be around. I will look into it.
Will be staying near the Louvre, maybe I will solve the heist haha.

Walk up or driven?
Just did a walk up hunt yesterday in Scotland.
Got 6 partridges, 2 pheasants and 2 ducks, but, man, walk up is challenging.
Was a lot of fun, but it’s VERY different from working with pointers like I’m used to quail hunting in the Southeast.

Neither. Will be shooting passing and decoying birds from ground and tower blinds.
How did you like Scotland? I hunted pigeons there a couple of years ago and had a great time.

Cool, you’ll have to report back on how it goes. Good luck!
Been great, I’m not a ‘go back to the same place’ kind of guy normally, but this is our 2nd trip to Gleneagles and I freaking love this place. Hunt yesterday was bucket list material, for sure. Wouldn’t have to twist my arm to come back and do it again.

This sounds like an OT baller thread and I'm jealous. Sounds great!
Is your female partner a wife or partner or someone you are trying to impress? They call Paris the city of love for a reason.

Thanks man.
Same. But I found Scotland to be very pretty.

My recommendation is to get your shooting skills up to snuff. Those pigeons fly high and fast. They seem to cut right as you pull the trigger.

Here's a joke you can ask anyone in France.
What do the call a dehydrated Frenchman?
Pee air
