Who approved all these middle-aged women wearing weighted vests?
What a silly trend

I bought an X vest probably 20 years ago. No easier way for someone to add a lot of core strength and mass.
In college we would load them up to 80lbs, put them on, then keep adding weight. 180lbs and and just walking around the lakes would make you puke

What's silly about it?
It's much more convenient than using a parachute or sled.

Are you also on a 'keto' diet

Weighted vests, especially if you do a farmer's carry with a couple of kettle bells at the same time, are an incredible full-body workout. It lights up a lot of secondary and tertiary muscle groups.

I approved it, I’ve got this strange thing going on where I like women that are in shape.

TikTok has turned moms into caring about protein intake and bone density (weighted vests) it’s kinda crazy how quickly it spread
every mom wearing weighted vest at school drop off and Starbucks with protein cold foam and protein lattes
i don’t like mocking people trying to be healthier, though … in the 80s it was fat free foods and ankle weights right?

So is a farmers carry different than say a delivery man carry or a roustabout carry? What makes the farmers carry so darn special?

It's just called working out, man, it's not that weird or a thing to wrap your head around. Weights add resistance, which gives a better work out. What's so hard about this?

IDK
I conceal carry so no one can tell.

I knew a couple of guys who would run with weights in their backpacks as they were going to basic training and wanted to get in better shape. I’d imagine a weighted vest is a lot more convenient than that
Did you think weighted wrist bands or running with dumbbells was a silly trend?

The fat arse OP wouldn't know about any of that. His idea of fitness is seeing how fast he can consume corn dogs and wash it down with some sugary carbonated drinks.

I’ve puked in and around the lakes (apologies to Yes) many times, but it involved kegs and concussions from being pushed in the lake and pistol whipped with a .357. All true.

Saw thread title, thought it was another Sydney Sweeney thread, left disappointed.

When I need to condense time at the gym, I'll throw on my backpack with a 30 lb plate and suitcase carry a 30 lb kettlebell alternating arms on an inclined treadmill. It starts off easy, but man, it kicks your arse.
I don't see the issue with weighted vests on people. Every burned calorie and extra heartbeat counts.

I get more lead pumped in my body while walking anywhere in New Orleans than wearing a vest that helps me improve my weight and cardio
