What’s fascinating to me is someone as politically savvy as Woodward is wasn’t able to make Landry an ally. This tells me Woodward backed the wrong horse in the 2022 governor’s race, even though anyone with a brain could tell Landry had the inside track.

Woodward is longtime friends / allies with Carville. Pretty sure he was close with Donna Brazille as well when she was still active in Dem politics
