Nuss is a game manager at best right now with the current offensive line and injuries he is dealing with.

We need to change it up and make a risky decision (Why not ?!?) and play MVB. The season is not over.

Lets go beat Bama.

He has certainly managed to choke away several games at LSU

I don't know what he is except a QB that either won't or can't run which doesn't work in today's CFB. He is not a game manager.

Game managers don’t make awful decisions consistently

you don't stick game managers in a spread offense.

Exactly. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl. Never forget the GOAT game manager.

He manages to make incredibly dumb decisions every game and that's about it.

I'd take an actual good game manager on this team. Nuss aint that.

It absolutely can work if you design the offense with his strengths and limitations in mind. Last year alone demonstrates that. He is not a runner but he is also not a statue and he has a great arm and has demonstrated the ability to make extremely accurate passes.

Our offense is not tailored to his strengths and having a horrific run game and offensive line certainly don't help. A different offensive scheme would likely help mitigate both but our coaching and scheming has been pretty awful along with Nuss' apparent early season injuries limiting his main strength, which was his velocity and accuracy.

Pinning this season's woes on Nuss is simplistic. The coaches should have pulled him when his injury took away his strengths and the offensive line couldn't maintain a pocket. They didn't. They hung him out to dry. He didn't suddenly forget how to play quarterback. When healthy and schemed right, Nuss is a weapon. He is also a gunslinger and prone to make a stupid turnover, so he is certainly not without downside but the kid can play.

Yall know hes not hurt right? He even denied it himself.

Why would a QB whos playing like shite deny an injury? Yall that gullible?

It's amazing what people will believe. Go back and watch any random game from last year and you'll notice a HUGE difference in the way the ball in thrown.

If that’s the case he’s a horrendous one. Game managers don’t make stupid decisions and rack up turnovers like nuss does

Nuss is immobile a QB as Mett was and Mett was better at decision making could see the field better and had a better OL. Nuss will get drafted but he will not play any significant pro ball. A team is CERTAINLY better off today in CFB with a very mobile QB.

The coaches that saw Nuss in practice and yet refused to put MVB in got what they deserved---GONE!

Go back and watch his mechanics from last year.

I always complained about Nuss throwing off his back foot, but he's doing it 5x as much this year. He also isnt stepping INTO throws.

But once again, why would a QB who has regressed so much not blame it on an injury? He had the clear opportunity too and said "no." So hes purposefully tanking his draft stock?

You're entire premise is predicated on the fact that our offensive gameplan wasn't the biggest issue. MVB adds a certain element to the game but he was sacked on his 2nd play vs TAMU. He did run a little but its not like he was a difference maker.

Game managers don't turn the ball over at the rate he does. He's a gunslinger that Sloan and Kelly tried to turn into a game manager.

I 100% agree with this. While also not trying to run the ball. You can't manage a game by running the ball 2 times in 3rd quarter. They were down by 10 or less until 4 min left in the 3rd.

Les Miles would have made this team work with a game manager at QB.
