Scott isn't all bad but fiscal responsibility is not one of his strengths. Scott is a visionary. Leave the details to someone else type guy. Verge isn't exactly Mr. Details either. Bad Combo.

We don’t know this to be true. I really don’t care, it’s not my money, but excuse me if I don’t give thanks for something that may or may not be true.

First off, the only rumors we have seen have said $27 million which is closer to $30 million than $20 Million.

Secondly, Bk ended up getting basically $70 million four years, thus around $17 million a year if you count this as a full season.

You also need to take into account the time value of money. Depending on the assumptions about returns over time, $25 mil up front could be costing you way more than $53 mil over 6 years. We were never on the hook for all $50+ up front.

Yes. Should have been discounted based upon each payment due dates and amounts. A dollar in the hand now is worth considerably more than six years from now.

If it was negotiated down (big if), what makes anyone believe Scott negotiated it down?

He wasn't involved in the firing and won't be involved with the new hire, yet we believe he's the guy that negotiated BK's buyout down?

I love that our coaching search has now become a shitshow of political tribalism.
