Why is no one talking about this guy?
-54 years old
-7 and 1 this year
-Has never had a losing season
-Coached under Aranda
-Knows how to play the portal game-On3 ranks his portal class this year ahead of LSU's.

Not enough experience at the collegiate level. Dude was a HS coach for most of his career. He wasn't anything special at T.Tech until they went out and bought a roster for this year.

He's a big risk in the pressure cooker of the SEC if you ask me.

He is basically like hiring JT Curtis. He isn’t far removed from being a high school coach,

All of his connections are in Texas. He would be silly to leave Texas. He is royalty to the high school coaches in the state.

shite, I would take JT in a pinch, the man knows football and he knows how to motivate players. Back in the day, I knew a few Curtis players. They would run through a wall and then into an inferno for him..

I thought he handled this well when the Kansas coach got mad about TT fans throwing tortillas at him.

5-star conflict resolution.

He is not leaving the state of texas. I think he would be successful at LSU, but he is holding out for the UT job for whenever sark either gets fired or jumps back to the nfl

He has a billionaire donor to buy whatever players he needs.

Why would he leave TTU?
