Urban Meyer was right, this political stuff will give serious coaches pause about coming to LSU.

I agree. He needs to just shut his mouth and focus on using casino taxes for infrastructure repairs and schools. Like governor duties

Bad look. I'd be wondering if I am coming work for LSU or the governor. And if I'm going to be indebted to him so to speak.

He’s making everything worse for LSU football.

I know politicians are generally stupid people, but he can’t possibly think he’s helping, can he?

I'm fairly conservative. I still think it's a real bad look.

I am R as they come, and he and Rosco can go back to where they came from. Too stubborn, and he is going to f it up

Lol no coach is seriously going to pause to come to LSU cause Jeff says something idiotic to score political points against SW.

You think Sumrall or Dillingham wouldn’t come to Louisiana cause our governor hated our old AD? lol

I was excited hearing he was behind the scenes pushing hard for Kiffin, but Landry can’t help himself. Dude lives for every political gimmick under the sun.

What a stupid and disrespectful move on Landrys part. Scott should bounce.

I agree and that sucks. I don’t understand how it works. We sound like Auburn with all the meddling from non-football people.

I think he just cost himself a second term today

So that’s a bright spot at least

Well when half the fan base is screaming about how our AD should not be allowed to hire the football coach, and considering LSU doesn’t have a president, is anyone surprised that the governor is taking a role? Maybe we should let the AD do his job.
As it is, Woodward will probably leave over this insult and we’ll have no president, no AD, and no coach. Great job guys.

In this state?

Ain’t no way

As the saying goes, once you’re in office, you’re in office unless you’re caught with a dead woman or live boy
