I think Woodward will leave

After the comments of today that Trump would do a better job of picking the next coach, AND that Landry would not be picking the coach BUT that Woodward will not, I think Woodward needs to just walk away from LSU.
I don’t have a clue who will pick the next coach or who Landry wants to be HIS next coach, but they’re going to be a Landry puppet.
The direction of this program is in a wierd place.

Cheese fry woody will have to be fired. No one outside of a D2 school is hiring an AD that negotiated over 130M in buyouts. Why would a guy with no options quit?

Woodward is doing a job and wants to win just like anyone else. He hired one of the best coaches in the country and it didn’t work out and now the Governor is publically shaming him . The friggin GOVERNOR!!
With a hatchet swinging over his head in public fashion like Landry’s doing, he has to save face.

To be fair he doesn’t need to pick the coach. He did make the bad hires at A&M and here but he did not give Jimbo the big extension that ultimately caused the huge buyout. So can’t really lump all of Jimbos buyout into this if he was already gone when he was extended which I think he was gone by then
