A message to whomever the HC will be, if you want to keep that real nice recruiting class we have and the young talent we have on the roster. Frank Wilson, Corey Raymond, Cortez Hankton and Kyle Williams are must keep on your coaching staff. Please don't start your career off as LSU HC like your predecessor, it took him a few years to get it. The BIG 4 would guarantee you a smooth transition.

Hankton is the one id question wanting to keep. We lead the nation in drops this year. Wr rotation is a mess

Nah, Im good with 2 of the 4. Frank and Raymond. If hankton and williams are deemed the best, then ok.

No on Hankton, as far as Williams goes not sure.

I enjoyed watching him play at LSU and is a great ambassador, but coaching wise the DTs havent done much.

Why’re people so high on Kyle Williams? What makes him a “must keep”?

I agree that Raymond and Wilson are keeps. Hankton needs to be canned.

Think our dline has played well this year. Des have lost contain this year, but people's coaches them. And thats with reliford out, and butler missing vandy.
Dts play active, and we dont get gapped bad it seems. Williams is respected in LA hs community as well, and was considered someone ready for a college job.

No clue if hes a great coach, but he seems to be about as perfect fit for lsu as it gets. One of the best dline careers in nfl by any dline player, coached hs for awhile, helped get verbal commits from 3 elite dts in this class.

Coaching staffs are limited to 10 “on field”. No coach is going to commit to keeping almost half of the previous regime.

I think the big 3 are Frank, Corey, and Austin. The roster will be always be loaded with those 3

Baker, Peoples, and Kyle should be the new coach's choice but should be legitimate candidates.

Hankton too except he's also co-OC. No way he should keep that designation and it would be weird to remove it. Doubt he would want to go backward.

OC, OL, QB, and TE should be new. The current guys can interview if they want.

I want coaches. Recruiters as position coaches are a thing of the past. Frank and Austin can handle the roster. Corey is both.

Hankton is a complete failure with the WRs & passing game coordinator. As passing game coordinator, his teams average pypg ranking was 40th, with a low of 76 and a high of 3 (JD).

Don't forget, he is currently co-OC, so some of the failure in gameplanning fall on him. The WRs have displayed horrendous technique over the past couple of seasons. Whatever he learned in his SWAC days is not working out for blue chip recruits.

Should Woody write that into the contract?

Kyle Williams is set for life
Doesn't ever have to work again
He might head back home, see his family and leave the rat race college football has become

Lamar Brown, Richard Anderson, Deuce Geralds, Darryus McKinley.

If DLC Kyle Williams is not retained, you can say goodbye to at least 2 of these DL prospects that make up one of the best DL groups in the country.

Absolutely not.

They need to keep who they want and let go who they want.

ETA the hilarious one is Frank when this board is in unanimous agreement that the best RB has. It been playing for half the season

Honestly, I’d rather the coach pick his staff. My guess is most will keep at least a couple of coaches to ease the transition
