Clemson is currently 3-4 and they still have to play @ Louisville and @ South Carolina. I think they will be underdogs in those 2 games. if they slip up against either Duke or FSU, they won’t make a bowl game.

From what I gather, his buyout is about 60 million.

They give him one more. He is a legend there. Also thats a lot of money that I don’t think Clemson will want to pay

Swinney has Clemson by the balls.

Buyout by year:
2025- $60mm
2026- $57mm
2027- $60mm
2028- $48.5mm
2029- $36.75mm
2030- $24.75mm
2031- $12.5mm

No mitigation clause either

No wonder that fanbase has been so quiet. Apathy has settled in.

At least he brought 2 championships to that program that was essentially non existent in my lifetime until then.

Why does the buyout go UP between 2026 and 2027?

Thats what caught my eye. Goes down only 3 mil then right back to 60 mil. Thats a wild buyout setup.

Dabo is now getting paid to relax and go 8-4,7-5. He already did the favor to Clemson. Now it’s time for him to sulk in it

I think they make lots of staff changes after this season. They’ll probably bring in some guys with a stronger understanding of the portal and nil. Dabo is still trying to do things like prior to the portal, and this year is proving that is no longer possible.

They just need to cut their losses. The buyout is really bad but I don't see Dabo ever getting back to where he was at Clemson

It's going to get ugly

He isn't going anywhere. They'll give him 2 more seasons at the very least

The wife and I were in St. George Island, Florida, back in September. I spoke with a Clemson grad and fan. She said that people there still love Dabo, and he was in no way in danger of losing his job, even if his season continued the way it was going. This was after the Georgia Tech loss, and Clemson was 1-2.

Bruh (or sis, to respect your gender identity)…why does it go down every year except 2027, where it goes up?

What witchcraft is this?
