kellys undoing i believe was a few weks ago when i heard one of the most assisnine statements you could hear from a coach...
he said they were holding back the offense to try and establish an Identity.... DO WHAT!!!?? holding back an offense... this was kelly being stubborn... he wanted to run his 11-12 personell offense that he knows instead of the spread option that dip ship ran... after that, i knew it was over... the head butting galore... Louisiana is loaded with burners at WR you run a spread option offense... you play with what you got and he didnt do that. thats the mark of a terrible coach, or at least a selfish one. its one of the takeaways that he wasnt a fit and he tried to stick a quare peg ina round hole... plus the fact that he was a yankee didnt work...

Kelly bulllshitted his way around the offensive issues until he couldn't do it any more...even before the first game, saying we would be rotating in 7-8 lineman per game was a red flag...couple that with the reports that the oline was getting their arse kicked in preseason practices and scrimmages, the team was doomed from the start...Clemson being down masked it for a bit, but it became more apparent against LA Tech and Florida.

I remember in ‘19 Joe Brady saying the had video of every touchdown in the NFL and they took some of their plays from that research. I believe they were referring directly to the TD pass to Helaire right before half.
I can’t imagine this staff putting in that level of work. While I think we have some quality assistants, the work they do and the commitment to getting better comes from the top.

Yep..but also said it was because we have a TOP 10 defense...lol. im not sure we are top 10 in the SEC

Kelly was probably done for anyway- but I think back to 1 single play that LSU still hasn’t recovered from and it was Durham being chased down at the 1 by Vanderbilt.
It showed Vandy talent just as good or better than LSU and the whole shite show the next 4 plays was. It summarized LSU coaching and players inability to man up and gain 1 yards in 4 plays. That play alone put this team in a tailspin and couldn’t recover from

I took that to mean he knew the team couldn't run the ball with just 5 lineman so they couldn't use the spread as our main offense. If he did it would be too predictable because the qb can't run so they would have to switch personnel every time they wanted to run the ball

Then got pissed off at reporters for asking why is the offense struggling? I mean was it not? You cant bullshite when by the middle of the season you are still having the same issues as the 1st game of the year.
