If this is true, then the buyout should certainly not be the full amount.

I'm calling bs on the drunkard stuff.
If Kelly was out to the late hours in BR, people would've been posting about it like crazy. If your out in public doing that, you aren't hiding it and LSU has too rabid of a fanbase to not jump on that as soon we took a second loss last year or the year before.

Does anyone think this article doesn’t have the ring of truth to it? This has been brewing for a while, and I believe the decision to move on was made well before the game. The performance and effort of the team tells you all you need to know.

There's a scene in one of the episodes of The Path where he is at home with his dad and a large group for a social gathering. Dude had a whole wall dedicated to wine and I don't remember the full scene but they had a discussion about alcohol. Definitely seems to be a huge part of his life.

If true and proven, the claim would be gross misconduct if he were not attending practice like he was hired to do. Also, drinking while on the job is frowned upon in most places; therefore that would fall under firing for cause. Any amount would be better than his 53 million.

If you look to the Hayride for accurate, even handed news, you deserve the embarrassment which will follow.
I am glad BK is gone. It was a very expensive mistake to give him this contract.
For whatever reason, he seems to have lost the locker room, and he was not ever exactly a warm person who was easy to like.
BUT, there is a whole lot of character assassination going on right now on Kelly.
I'll wait for a couple of weeks and see what credible sources say...

Seems to me this stuff could not have been kept quiet. The article is full of "i heard...", which reeks of rumor, at best.
