So glad I’m an Amtrak or road trip guy and don’t fly unless I absolutely have to.

Flying is at best purgatory and at worse the deepest pit of Dante’s Inferno.

As if air travel wasn’t enough of a pain in the arse before the shutdown.. jeez Louise .. fortunately i promised myself last year after my last international flight that i will never voluntarily fly on a United States airline carrier ever again, if i can help it .. just a complete shitshow, with ever-decreasing sized seats and fat stewardesses , er, flight attendants …. Only AirAsia, Emirates or the like for me from now on.. in my experience the tickets cost a little more but they don’t nickel & dime you quite as much as the domestics .

IB4 i am a poor b/c i dont fly private

Tell all the TSA employees to stay home forever and we’ll just risk boarding planes that may contain full sized shampoo bottles and corkscrews like it’s 1999. Give all the ATC’s a fricking Air Force commission or something and pay them that way.

Guess I got lucky, both of my flights landed early yesterday

ETA: weren’t there huge thunderstorms all weekend too?
