The Ohio State seems to be doing something right over the last few years. Have any of his assistants or coordinators been hired? Are there any there now that might be worthy? I’m thinking the Saban tree branched out pretty well.

I dont want Hartline. I don’t want a Big 10 coach. We need SEC guy who can play tough games week in and out.

Schumann was a grad assistant with Lanning under Saban at Bama

Ryan Day was all but fired before the playoffs last year. Amazing how getting hot in the playoffs can change the perception about you.

Our last hire from the SEC - Gerry Dinardo.

Our last hire from the Big 10- Nick Saban.

But yeah definitely should only consider SEC coaches and not big 10.

Why not the Harbaugh tree? Mike MacDonald is killing it at Seattle. Defensive coordinator at Michigan and Baltimore. Jesse Minter in the same career arc. Get him

Or Tosh Lupoi, personally I don’t really want a coordinator, I want a younger coach who is out performing at the school he is at preferably a p4 job

are you nuts?

before last year he played for a natty in 2020 and his record was 56-8. he made playoffs in 2019, 2020, 2022, and of course 2024.

he went 14-2 last year and won it all and is 7-0 this year
