Mark Few stayed until the Judge ruled against the NCAA even though his team tips off for a game in 30 mins. NCAA’s arguments were terrible in this case.

At some point someone needs to be the adult and tell these guys to stop fricking things up for the guys coming after them. This guy is getting like a 7th year and his only marketable skill is that he’s way older than his competition. It’s fricking absurd.

The SEC and B1G just need to get this over with and split off and then make an ironclad rule against this shite.

The kid had two strokes and was medically redshirted for two years. He only played 1 season at GCU and 1 season at Kansas

Can't say you're wrong and I know nothing about this case before looking at this thread then googling but I don't get why he'd need to go to court to be eligible. They already said juco years don't count and seems like he should have a medical redshirt from his 1 game at Depaul. He's played one year at Kansas and two at Grand Canyon so he should have one more left.

He's 25. It's getting ridiculous.

Sure but Chad Baker Marzara was 25 last year and he's back for his 5th school this year.

Am I reading it wrong? It looks like he played two seasons at GCU, plus the one season at Kansas and two seasons at Indian Hills CC. He's played in 146 games in college.

Pavia punked them into not counting juco seasons.

I didn't realize that. So you can play juco and still get 4 years?

Wiki has 2 years of stats for him at GCU. He declared for the draft after 1st season there but later withdrew from draft, and he seems to have played in 26 games with 17 starts during his second season there. Also, 1 season at Kansas (22 games), the 1 redshirt season at DePaul, and the earlier 2 seasons (64 games total over 2 seasons) at a junior college/NJCAA school.

Think it's still being worked out longterm but it seems that way now. Maybe this kid sitting out a year after the strokes at Depaul is what's complicating things.

Will turn 26 this March (March 2026 for clarification).

Indian Hills (2018–2020)
Kansas (2020–2021)
DePaul (2021–2022) medical redshirt
Grand Canyon (2023–2025)
Gonzaga (2025–present)

If both years at Indian Hills ignored he might push for 2026-2027 as well using the covid extra year.

2020-21: Kansas (COVID year)
2021-22: Played one game for DePaul (heart injury) (Medical Redshirt with heart attack)
2022-2023: DNP (Medical Redshirt with 2nd heart attack)
2023-2025: GCU (Played 2 seasons)
2025-2026 Gonzaga (Granted Preliminary Injunction, NCAA will not appeal)

This kid has had 2 heart attacks and wants to continue playing college ball? Don’t know if that’s some serious commitment or really messed up.

This man(not a kid) is going to be able to conduct research on strokes if he stays in school long enough.

When he dies on the court the family will turn around and sue the school and NCAA for financially exploiting their son.

And win.
