Not sure if he’s being considered or not but this is the guy we need to make a splash. Not another old, recycled loser. Bring in Sheppard and fill the staff with ex tigers! LFG

And you have someone better, in mind. He would have us playing with some attitude. In this era of NIL and portal, we don’t need the same old process of hiring someone for name. Go get someone that the kids will play hard for and who is still hungry. The dude has been around football his whole f’ing life, you think he can’t be a head coach. It’s that type of mentality that got us where we are.

Dude started coaching 3 years ago, has picked up where Aaron Glenn left off with an all-star defense at Detroit. And notice how well Glenn is doing as head coach of the Jets...

Sorry my brother, according to Jacob Hester who is good friends with Calvin Shepard he is an NFL guy all the way. His aspirations are to be a head coach in the NFL. If that is what his aspirations are then we do not need him coming here as much as I love Nick Saban it was every other year worried about. Was he going to go to the Chicago Bear? So was he going to go over here or over there? And then he finally did test the waters in Miami and we know the rest of the story. No sir, we don't need anybody that their aspirations are to coach in the NFL as much as I love Calvin Shepard as a tiger

There are several names out there, I’m not gonna get fixates on one just because he played at LSU.

And you think he’s the only coach in the US that could do that

you think he can’t be a head coach

I have no idea but I do know he’s only been a DC for a grand total of 7 games. He replaced a guy who got HC job and the team was 15-2 so not really a lot evaluate.

I also know you are only naming him because you know his name because he played for LSU. Would you want Terrell Williams? He would appear to be doing a good job 8 games into his first season as DC with NE.
