Do we have an Orgeron situation?

We have all the talent in the world….

I think we 2-2 at best but let’s talk about it for fun

The same thing if he doesn't win out.

LSU does their due diligence, interviews candidates, and hires a coach. If Frank wins out, maybe he gets a look.

He beats bama and ou and wins out, we end up #11-13 ranked, and playoff convo just like bama, ole miss, scar was. Likely miss out cause of auto bids bs. But if he does that you have to consider him, since that would he a fing miracle with what we've seen haha.

But women dont have d's, usually, so doubt that happens. Would be hilarious and the shite if we get on a heater.

It won't happen. There is an obvious coaching/talent gap on the OL that nothing will fix that this season and this defense is not near as good as we thought they were at the beginning of the season.

With Sloan out the best case scenario is someone calling plays that is competent enough to know the limitations that the offensive line poses and try their best to scheme around that.

yeah with a Shedeaur Sanders-esque narrative if he performs well as an interim and LSU doesn't fire their first black head coach

I can almost hear Ryan Clark from two months away bashing the school on tv

Asst head coach. Rb coach. Recruiting guru. . High salary. Lifetime job. Beloved by fans, players and mommas all over Louisiana. Not bad work and he’s the only guy who has that specific stature.

A great AD would have had the discussion with him before offering him the interim that he was not a candidate for HC but would be retained on staff.

But, I am not sure this AD would have thought that far ahead.

It does not matter even if he wins out. Frank Wilson will not be the next head coach at LSU. He failed too miserably at McNeese State. I'm not just talking about a 500 coach I'm talking about failed miserably. He will not be the head coach. No need to even discuss it. Sure hope he wins out and I'm sure he will be retained by an incoming staff. He will not be the next head coach at LSU book it dano
