Have attitudes about men fighting women changed over the decades?

I asked Gemini and ChatGPT this question, but all of the polling over the decades has been about domestic situations.
Until I started reading Twitter and Tigerdroppings, I had no idea that so many dudes thought that it was okay for a man to fight a woman like a man.
To what extent is this a generational shift? Is it all part of the unfortunate trend in America where traditional gender roles have been blurred and the genders have been blurred? "Anybody can be anything nowadays."
One way or the other, my opinion is that the only time it's okay to punch a woman or fight a woman like a man is if she has a loaded gun or a deadly weapon in her hand (like a Kitana or a big steak knife, not a little steak knife). And even then, you should assess if you can outrun her, or if you can run around the car or the kitchen table in a circle until she eventually gives up.
And if she doesn't have a loaded gun or deadly weapon and she is just trying to punch you, 99 times out of a hundred, a simple headlock with minimal force and a "I'll let you go if you promise to calm down" gets the job done.
It's all subjective.

Domestic violence is not okay.
With that said, if a random woman hits or spits on me, she’s absolutely getting the hands.

But unless you have soft tiny hands, your hands are going to be way harder than her head. Women have really small and soft heads.
Men and woman are the not the same.

It's the bullet you'd have to outrun you absolute retard.

Sounds like you're quite experienced with having women wanting to fight you.

Good catch! I was just talking about a kitana or a big steak knife. Should've made that more clear, my bad.

The idea that women can just tee off on men and suffer zero repercussions is ridiculous. I don't go around punching people and neither should any woman.

What is a woman?

But the punches don't land the same and with the same force, unless the man punches like a woman, and even then it still hurts worse.

Maybe it’s the attitudes of women fighting men.

Absolutely it has. And women were the ones that changed those attitudes. If you're not going to act like a lady, don’t expect to be treated like one. It was women that stripped femininity and started the whole Boss Babe thing. They’d take swings at guys, BUT with the expectation that the man wouldn’t hit back. She lays hands these days and she’s going to get walloped.

You don't get physical with women, but every rule has exceptions.
Male or female, if you initiate things and put your hands my wife, my children or me, with ill intent, I'll do my best to knock your arse out.

That's a really good point. Probably has a lot to do with the phenomenon.

Thinking that a woman is not my physical equal and that it's okay to fight a woman as if she was a man makes me soft. Got it!
We are living in bizarro world. All part of the blurring of gender roles and the pansificaiton of the American male.

Doesn't matter. Its the principle behind it. IF you assault me - I don't care if you are a retard, cripple, or a woman I am going to do my absolute best to at minimum break your jaw and even then I'm going to keep going until someone pulls me off. It only takes one time for this to happen and they won't dare to assault someone ever again. People need to be made examples of and taught lessons. Its why women think they can just assault men and have no repercussions because that is what society has taught them that they are allowed to do whatever destructive behavior whenever they want and not be punished because of their gender.

So if a woman starts windmilling on you with her eyes closesd, you will try to break her jaw?
We will just have to agree to disagree. I feel as if I'm in the Twilight Zone.
