Predict what day you think our new head coach will be announced

I feel like we will know before early national signing day on December 3rd. Even if it's a playoff coach.

We should have a board with squares. 10 bucks per square.

The day after Ole Miss season ends

After thanksgiving. I could see first or second week of December being the time the HC is announced

The timing is so messed up. Season ends first of December. Early signing day begins and four weeks later, the portal opens.

If you are a highly sought coach (like Cig, Kiffin, Day, Lanning, etc.) then you are in playoff mode all of December.

What coach is going to accept another job in that situation? Yes, I know some would, but it's just a big clusterfkkk. Ideally, you want your coach the day the season ends so they can contact recruits and start on the portal. A playoff coach cannot do that.

If LSU doesn't have a coach by signing day, then they are waiting on a playoff coach and the rumors will be wild as they assure recruits to stay committed because "???" is coming in January.

I think they have a really good idea who it’s gonna be and the reason being is is it’s a strong job. It’s an upgrade for the majority of coaches. They’ve already reached out and probably weeded through a lot. I don’t know if there’s many coaches it’s gonna sit around and have to think about it if they want to coach LSU or not.
