Obviously his release had more to do with BK wanting to bring in his own people, but would he even entertain the idea if offered. He seems to have renewed vigor and life at A&M and they will have no problem matching anything LSU could offer.

If Tommy wasn’t out there screaming look at me no one would attribute Saturday to their S&C vs ours

LSU has a talent and depth issue, not a strength and conditioning. If the new coach wants to replace Flint and bring in his own guy, great.

There is absolutely a S&C issue as well. I just don't give a shite about Moffitt.

You can't be serious. This team is soft as shite. A&M complete dominatated this team in the 2nd half.

He like most of the other coaches all seemed to mail it in towards the end in 2021. I think most of the former players continue to look for something or someone to grasp on to as a reason things went sideways.

Not sure how much mental toughness can be attributed to a S&C coach in the NIL era.

He can't have many more years left in the tank.Im sure he could do it for a long time, but he doesn't need to. Would he want to? I wouldn't see a point in bringing him in if it were only for a couple of years. That's if he even wanted to. Who knows?

I would call, at least get a recommendation from him. You know he knows guys, and what's it to him if LSU is competitive again?

I don't think he's going to walk away from Elko that gave him a job again.

Enough with the Moffitt talk. He’s not the only strength coach out there.

How about Ole Miss’ or Vandy’s strength coaches? They abused us every bit as much as A&M did.

If the guy that fired me was on the other sideline and my team was putting belt to arse in his house, I would be acting just the same if not worse.

Last 2 years to the tune of 66-13

Moffit got lazy his last few years in BR. Maybe he needed this kick in the arse to get back on track.

I noticed he follows a lot of LSU pages still in instagram. I would bet he’d come back if offered but I think his reputation is way overblown.

Well a lot could be said for Corey Raymond too. Every coach checked out.

The Kelly fan boys are hurting right now. These are tough times for them.

right. gotta love tRant. when "Sissy blue" and Kentucky were pushing our shite in back in '21, a lotta people hated Moffitt.

though I will say that once we kinda started getting after it on D late in the year, suddenly we were some beasts at least on that side of the ball.

Do ya'll remember how bad LSU was up front under his tenure at the end?
