why? With the portal era, we could get half their team so the culture they instill is that much easier. Even could compete next year for the Playoff

We have to get over the whole notion of hiring a tenured head coach. Ohio State, Georgia, Oregon, Clemson, all hired assistants

Underwhelming list, to be honest.

All solid dudes (except Wilson) but LSU fans are like most major program fans - if they can't brag about the hire they think it's the dumbest thing like literally ever.

We need to attempt to identify the guy with the highest ceiling that can navigate the shitshow that is major college football in 2025.

6 of the current top 10 teams hired coordinators, although Lane did have head coaching experience before becoming Alabamas OC.
