Try to keep a mass of exodus of transfers from taking place. Start with Harlem Berry

I think we keep Berry, Trey’Dez, and McKinley. Hopefully Pickett and Durham as well.

Pickett

To be honest, I don’t think we do see an exodus. What guys were going to live and die by Kelly…

His first call needs to be to Peyton Houston and his family. We have to keep his commitment.

His first business of order should be to name MVB as the starter for the Bama game

He’s been fantastic. Gotta hope the new coach wants to keep Raymond around

I would hope our NIL structure is in place to retain most the roster. Especially the guys you mentioned.
We can’t have a new coach coming in with no talent.

There was a good image of the players that stuck around for the Alma Mater on Saturday night. BK didnt, Frank was asking some to stick around, few listened, Berry was one of the ones that did.

Raymond is the key to success for the new coach. His ties to the program and recruiting are invaluable.

Sloan and Nuss didnt stick around last night until after 9pm to talk ab out the best ways to hold a clipboard.
The roster will see incredible attrition. The good news is, it can be built back quickly through the portal and while the initial hit might be worse than it was immediately after Miles it isn't as hard to now to rebuild it.

Need to flush these two piles of shite now. We can't win anything with them. Time to move on completely and develop new players.

He could’ve started that part in the second half of the A&M game

I am not so sure that would be better for the program right now
You need leadership especially right now. There is no reason to believe MVB will even be on the roster next year.

Berry, Green, Pickett
I guarantee you none of them came here for Kelly.
So this only helps retaining talent.

Why would there be mass exits. The players should be happy
Posted on 10/27/25 at 7:15 am to LSUfan4444
Well, we know Nuss ain’t gonna be on the roster next year, so why not give the guy who possibly could a start? We know what nuss gives us, and it won’t beat bama

I'm sorry, but their NIL contracts need to be just that - contracts with a term. Pro athletes don't get to just transfer to another team because they're unhappy with the front office. The entire state of college athletics is absurd.
