Rumors had been swirling all day that the LSU Board of Supervisors in connection with Governor Jeff Landry were working on a plan of separation and negotiations were underway to find a financial figure that worked for both the school and the coach. According to @RossDellenger and @PeteThamel, the conversations surrounding Kelly's $53 million buyout involve Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, as there is currently no LSU president.

News started leaking just before 3 p.m. on the Rant. I wasn’t even paying attention to the Saints game as the news kept flipping if it was a rumor or if it was happening.

By your premise we had a premier football coach?
Seemed to be a mediocre coach who was paid as if he was premier.
Wages do not translate into quality……people should negotiate their salary more.
Guarantee (in general)you some idiots at your work make more than the best worker
