But according to reports I’ve read on here, he wanted to fire more than Sloan and Woody wouldn’t allow it. Secondly, Woody wanted to have booster involvement in the Sloan replacement hire. If this is true, what coach will ever want to come to LSU? Can anyone confirm?

You understand posturing is part of negotiation to get people out the door right?

I think he didn’t want BK to have full control of hires because he was dead man walking

Why wouldn’t they just fire him. Either way he’s owed the money. Now LSU looks like idiots.

The one thing Woodward and Kelly have in common is that they're relatively bad at hiring people.

Woodward definitely should’ve given full control to the prick who clearly didn’t give a shite and was tanking for his buyout

Woodward was only doing what he was told by the boosters. Woodward is now dead man walking.

What are you talking about? Unless they negotiated a reduction in the buyout, (hope they did) why would you not just straight up fire him.

He already whiffed on his first defensive staff and got to ax them all and go get the highest paid DC in cfb. Then he was given $20 million in NIL to upgrade the roster and build a contender. Another whiff. Now he wanted to fire his whole staff on the other side of the ball. Boss told him no and you don't get free reign on the next staff since you already botched 2 staffs.
