By the end of 2021 season, most fans wanted him gone. Our teams were soft and conditioning was poor.

A change was needed. Most fans supported this. He was mailing it in.

Clearly, that lit a fire under Moffit and he started caring again.

I guess he needed to be fired to wake him up.

Good for him. I’m willing to see if Kelly would benefit from the same treatment.

Most fans could not distinguish lack of talent vs lack of conditioning. I think this is what you meant to say.

Yea it was probably time for a fresh start for both parties and he has clearly benefited.

But if it helps crank up the heat on BK so be it.

But isn’t this all of us in our jobs? Everybody gets burned out, everybody needs a change of scenery etc.

Thank you!!! This is the truth. The moffit we would’ve gotten is not the moffit A&M is getting.

I don’t necessarily think he was mailing it in. Discipline and focus were not part of the program due to O. But he 100% needed to go because ther was no way the culture could change without a new guy there.

Clearly Flint wasn’t the right choice

I do not think it lit a fire in him. Moffit is still Moffit. People can and do confuse greater effort for physicality. A$M was "efforting", as Chollie Mac used to say, more than LSU. Especially in the 2nd half

Revisionist history is typically far more accurate than mainstream doggerel. Just sayin’.
