Problem is BK is married to a QB that can't move or throw a football.

That's it

BK banked his season on an injured QB and was too stubborn to change it up. He deserves the heat.

Dude our Offensive line is giving free runners 10 times a game. No quarterback is going to be successful

Lmao y’all are crazy. LSU was 25th in the country in total offense last year.

Disagree.. 80% coaching, lack of blocking, lack of run support, lack of receivers performing and horrible play design and calling
20% on Nuss and 90% of his bad play is due to torso injury and ridiculously bad oline blocking regardless.

Let's name the players who have gotten worse under this staff:

Nuss
Durham (you could say every starting RB has gotten worse the following year)
Every WR not named Aaron Anderson
Bauer Sharp
Barion Brown as a kick returner
Every OL for 4 years
Punter this year

We haven't even gotten into defense yet.

With even above average QB play we would now be a 1 loss team at worst. Nuss’ play has been atrocious. Kelly’s decision to put all his eggs in the Nuss basket is his undoing.

40/60 QB to coaching.

Nuss has as talented an arm as any. And the OL has given him PTSD, which isn't his fault. But for lingering injury or PTSD, he's rattled. Got to put MVB in, which is on the coaches. Also, the putrid offensive playcalling and lack of physicality, discipline by leaders like Perkins, OL play, etc. comes down to coordinator and eventually head coaching.

We have no LSU football identity. It's gone. And these reasons fall on coaching at this point. Though I will give credit to the improved run game.

Hell it's probably 80/20 coaches to QB.

Nuss turned the ball over more than any QB in the SEC. Lacey bailed him out with jump balls plenty of times

Very little evidence of that this year. And his lack of mobility, pocket presence and decision making negates any arm strength he does have. The guy just can’t threaten a defense at all. I can’t believe we’ve wasted a season trying to ride with this guy.

Nuss is easy to play defense because he can't run. He should have been pulled against Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. All of us fans could see it but it's your responsibility as head coach to see it and replace the problem.

We have really dumb fans. QB is a problem but not nearly our only problem.

Your percentages are totally ridiculous! Ssssoooo, the OL has no responsibility at all for LSU offensive woes? And if you are talking about total play, how about Blake Baker and the LSU defense on a milk carton...totally MIA...when trying to defend a running QB..

Your post was clueless!

Either way, that falls 100% on coaching if they refuse to make changes that will help them win games.
