Was the second half last night the worst have of football ever in Tiger Stadium?

I know we’ve had bad games at home and lost big at home before.

But from being up at half time to a 35-7 blowout in the second half, I’m struggling to remember a worse second half at home ever.

And I’ve been watching for over 40 years

Not even close!! A lot of you were not at games in the early 90’s. 58-3 against Fl in TS was prob the depth of things game wise. 44-3 against Miami in a rain storm was bleak also. Been there, seen that!!

I was at plenty of games in Tiger Stadium in the 90s and watched Spurrier run it up nonstop, that feeling last night was a complete flashback to those games

I remember those games but those were blowouts from the start.

I’m talking about
1. Specifically the second half
2. Expectations were different back then, that makes what happened last night even worse.

Yeah, folks who say this was worse than anything in TS are not right in the context of the whole game.

I had to go out at half time. I was shocked when I got back home.

Remember them both. Also, not in Tiger Stadium, but we were at Auburn during Jamie Howard's 4th quarter interception implosion

Florida in the early 90’s under Hallman was one of the worst beat downs I have ever seen in TS. Then I think he followed that up with another beat down by FSU the following year. Miami was a bad one too. BK still needs to be fired.

Yep two halves (encompassing a game) were the worst I’ve seen. And I’m not the only poster to mention Miami.

This was the absolute bottom of the barrel. That was a miserable game to sit at and we stayed the entire game.

I can’t disagree with the older folks having experienced the dark ages of LSU.

However, those rosters didn’t cost $18 million so I’d say yeah last night was a bit worse.
