He is heading to retirement. He won't coach again imo. This was his retirement job. The things he dealt with were different at ND. He was better off staying there. He wasnt a good fit here. He did clean up things when he got here. Its now time to win 9/10 plus games a season and this year it wont happen.

Our greatest coach of all time gave 0 fricks about the state
That whole “we need someone that understands LSU” nonsense is how we ended up with some terrible hires. Nothing here is so unique a perfectly good football coach can’t handle.

Not saying they need to be from Louisiana, or have some buy in before they take the job. What I am saying is that even Nick Saban gained an affinity for the state and community, which people from Louisiana really love.

I couldn’t care less what his thoughts on the state of LA are. The only requirement of the job is winning football games. That is it. This whole “one of us” stuff is so lame. BK is an unlikable prick, but everyone would give him a pass if he was winning.
