Probably already discussed here at some point, but what's the story behind caps with upside-down words? What am I missing? I'm late to the party again, like I was with the rubber ducks on the Jeep dashes.

If the person wearing the cap is upside down you can read the hat. This indicates the heat wearer needs to be turned over.
