Coaches lying to our faces

BK just said earlier this week he was “protecting” Stamps redshirt for the future. Even mentioned he might see playing time this Saturday. Why not be truthful and say some players are not up to snuff and leave it at that. All the BS gets old quick. Just about all coaches do it.

Stamps was not happy with lack of playing time and decided to leave.
Would you rather BK straight up say that or him say that he’s going to redshirt and we will see where he’s at come December?
If a player chooses to take his ball and go home mid semester, the athletic department shouldn’t be responsible for paying any remaining bills to the university. I know tuition is already paid for, but any other access should be cut off.

Just a guess, but he probably already knew that Stamps was going to portal or get portaled and didn't want to talk bad about a player that still had a future somewhere else.

Stamps has played in 3 games this year. He can play in 1 more w/o losing his ability to redshirt. What BK is saying is that they aren't going to play him in a 5th game if it's unnecessary
Why would he need to say that and publicly disparage the kid? The fact that he's not starting, nor playing much, tells you the coaches think there are better players ahead of him.
Are you just looking for absurd reasons to be pissed at Kelly? There are plenty of valid reason beyond this dumb opinion.
