Would yall believe the season is saved if we beat A&M

Question is as simple as that. If this team somehow finds a way to win that A&M game at home are y’all back to believing in BK or you still won’t have any faith in him long term until he gets a marquee road win ?

On paper, sure. We'll be ranked around 10-12 going into bama.
The early winnable losses are what kill our chances every year.

Only way this season is "saved" is running the table.

It would be a great win worth celebration, but unless you follow it up with a win at bama and at OU, it's all for naught. Such is life when you blow your two mulligans early in the season.

Ole Miss in 23, USC last year, A&M in 22. It’s frustrating every single year we drop games we have no business losing

This season will be saved if LSU runs the table on the remaining games. Can we finish 10-2? Miracles can happen. Realistically, we finish 7-5 or 6-6 because of this coaching staff.

I'll be excited about the win, because unlike many on here, I'm still cheering for the Tigers to win more than I am for our coach to be fired.
I won't think the season is saved, but I'll think there is still an outside chance. Follow it up with a win at Bama and I'll probably start feeling froggy again.

This for me because what is going to be better about next year? This was a take your shot year and we missed.
Maybe with portal etc we can build on 3 loss year I just don't see it

It would be a start… but consistency is what this team lacks. Even within the game we will see a drive where the line blocks well, receivers catch, rbs find holes, Nuss makes good decisions. Then the very next drive the look like they’ve never played before.
At the end of the day, I will always cheer for LSU to win.
The hot seat for Kelly will not cool unless we end up in the playoffs.
The powers that be spend too much money for anything less 9-3 will get you fired now unless it’s the outlier amongst 10-2, 11-1 seasons.

The season will be saved if we win out and make the playoff. That's the only way.
Anything less, it'll be a long offseason and lots of uncomfortable discussions will be had.

Nope, we have to win out. I said at the beginning of the year that BK needs to make the playoffs or i'm out.
If we cannot be one of the best 11-12 teams in the nation at least once in a 4-year span with the talent and resources we have at LSU, you're not the right person for the job, period. I don't need a natty every 4-5 years, but damn, we better be in the mix at least once.

We need to see the games. If we split A&M and Bama, that’d be signs of hope, at best — IF they win the rest and finish 9-3.
Seems unlikely, but still possible.
If we finish 8-4, or worse? Damn. Unbelievable.
