The DCU’s "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" is set to hit theaters in June 2026, with Kara Zor-El embarking on a darker, more brutal journey alongside Krypto and even crossing paths with Lobo. While fans are excited, many hope the story won’t skip over one key element—her connection to Ma and Pa Kent. Unlike Superman, Supergirl has often lacked that grounding parental influence in adaptations, but time with the Kents could give her the same love, compassion, and humanity that shaped Clark. As the DCU builds toward a true “Super-Family,” Kara’s bond with the Kents could be

just as vital as her relationship with Kal-El. #supergirl #DCU #womanoftomorrow #superfamily #Kryptonian

"It'll flop spectacularly... won't even make it's budget back... clearly Gunn has no idea what he's doing." SEK, probably.

That release date is a bit concerning. It's sandwiched between Toy Story 5 and Minions.

Not a DC comics kid growing up, but isn't Lobo basically invincible?

More that he "can't die" - you can still pulp him, but he's a Superman level threat so even managing that is tough as hell.

That said, he once regenerated from a pool of his own blood.

Of course, other versions of him just had him super strong and tough.

Is that a legit teaser? Because it has all the feels of a AI generated short.

I have zero expectations for this movie but unless the upsell for this is off the charts & the actual story doesn’t line up as advertised, maybe?

Wouldn’t put it past Gunn to put a better effort into supergirl (“woman” of tomorrow? - Just caught that) than a Superman movie.

Figured it was sus as Krypto wasn’t Gunn’s dog.

No. No footage is out yet. So the only videos on topic are ai or fan made. But it's in production.

Id rather see a follow up to Suicide Squad.

I don't have high hopes for this an be knew she wouldn't be popular here. But lobo is awesome.

100% should have been young Elrond in RoP, but I think he saw the train wreck that was coming and dipped out. Smart move.

Gunn’s Superman made less money than Snyder’s Man of Steel.
12 years later.
Zillagod, definitely.

That was easy.

Incorrect. Difference between Superman and Lobo is Lobo doesn't need a yellow sun.

True, but it was meant to be a parody of Wolverine
