Is Kelly's actual position guaranteed in his contract?

If not, demote him to some embarrassing position. Make him clean freaking toilets.

He'll opt out of the contract on his own.

You people have no understanding or respect for others.

There is talent here on both sides of the ball. This season is not over.

Kelly is a pompous prick why should anyone respect him?

I'm sorry. When a 10+ million dollar a year coach walks into a program where the PREVIOUS THREE coaches before him all won national championships here, and he's been here for almost four seasons and calls the fanbase SPOILED, there's an issue.

You're damn right I don't respect him. College football is the very blood that courses Baton Rouge's veins. It's not a side project or hobby here like it is in the North.

He's been given everything that he needs to succeed. He KNEW Sloan wasn't a good fit last year, but you know what he did? He decided that people weren't going to tell him how to do his job. He doubled down on stupid, and people can say whatever they want, even about this transfers... and the transfers have played fantastic, but his inability to get top 5 classes here is rearing its ugly head too. We have great players now, finally, but if one of them gets hurt? We are screwed.

When does it all finally become his fault?

To answer your question, BK's head coach role is more than likely guaranteed. There's probably 1000 different stipulations made by BK's agent to ensure that fact.

You seriously think BK or his agent would agree to a contract that doesn’t guarantee his position?

The season isn’t over because there are still games to play but the playoff hopes are

I understand that respect is earned. Brian Kelly has not earned my respect as a fan. He is paid a premium salary and is not providing premium results. It's really that simple. Brian Kelly himself said to judge him on year 3. Well, it's year 4 and I'm judging.

This season is clinically dead. Not biologically dead.

No reason they cannot put over him.

I wonder does it stipulate WHO the HC reports to or the HC roles and responsibilities? Bring in someone as the Football GM. Have Kelly report to him and have the GM micromanage Kelly's every hire and scheme.

The coaching will get better with the right GM or Kelly will be willing to negotiate a lesser buy out to get out of that situation.
