In his after game press conference, he states that the Team did not execute at the level necessary to compete! What about his Coaching at a level to compete ? Can someone please ask him if his Coaching, Preparation,Planning,Schemes were sufficient to compete ? To those that cover the Tigers, don’t let him off the hook

He says this every single week. Either he recruits dipshits every year or he can’t coach them up.

Either our players have a learning deficiency, or he has a coaching deficiency

It could be both. I mean I saw plenty of terrible execution that nobody who gets paid to coach would tell players to do.

He did that constantly at ND. Good coach but struggled with accountability.

He definitely isn't doing himself any favors.

YOU are the head coach. YOU are the one to cultivate and instruct these kids to play to their potential.

If changes need to be made to suit the strengths of the players YOU recruited, then make them.

The end.

Stop with all this coach speak nonsense. It does more damage than anything.

The fanbase really doesn't like him right now. Myself included.

Fix it. He's paid handsomely.

I said the same thing. We hear the same thing every week but very little changes.

What's the definition of insanity again? Trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

He's so pompous when he defends the obviously wrong decision to punt on 4th and 8.

He just so f*cking cocky for a coach who's never won anything and clearly made the wrong call

He can't. This is the best he can do. He doesn't have the mindset to get anymore out of his teams. What the team is missing is toughness and swagger, that's not part of his recipe for success. He has taken LSU as far as he can. I thank him for righting the ship and getting LSU back to this point, but it's time to get someone that can take LSU to the next step.

It's not whether but when with Kelly as HC at LSU. 7-5 even 6-6 buys him another year, but this is not sustainable.

In his first few years, such comments were unheard of. He owned it.

Now he’s blaming the players.

That is the death knell of a coach in the final throes of his job.

Sticking with Sloan is going to cost him dearly.

On a separate note, does LSU hemorrhage talent to the portal after this abortion of a season?

Did no one ask that? I thought I heard those topics brought to the fore, a bunch. Asked and answered.

This is exactly how I feel. He was the right guy at the time to rebuild the foundation that O destroyed and raise the floor. But his ceiling is not much higher than his floor and we are and have been up against that ceiling. He does not have the ability, i'm afraid, to elevate the program any higher. He fixed it but he is not capable of achieving the next step. He seems to me to be the "guy before the guy".

What? We ended up getting the ball back… regardless of your thoughts on BK, it was the right call.. kept it a one score game and they were in automatic field goal range that would have made it a two score game.

Offense stalled out twice when you needed them the most.
