The fact that this dude has been rolling around Baton Rouge in a Tesla for 4 years should’ve have told us right there how physical his teams on the field were gonna be

The red flag was his record vs top teams while at notre dame. The argument was he needed better athletes and that’s why LSU seemed perfect

He’s just too old and on his decline. He was a panic hire I believe after Riley fell through. Not here to say Riley would’ve been the savior, but I’d feel better about it than what we got.

No, the biggest red flag missed was the fact that he has never played football and was a con artist Irish Boston politician prior to coaching. He was very lucky to get some good coaches to carry his water, and lucky that USC and Michigan sucked for his tenure at ND
