As if we needed more evidence.
Louisville just beat Miami...in Miami. The two teams have the exact same record.
Miami is ranked No. 9
Louisville is ranked No. 19
Beyond absurd.

Sometimes weaker teams beat better teams. It happens all the time
Head to head is a cool tiebreaker and all but Miami’s resume and personnel is better than Louisville’s. It’s not really feasible to make a compelling argument otherwise

No, I would say us (LSU) still being ranked is better proof of the polls being dumb. Miami up until Friday looked like they might be the best team in the country and they still may be the best team despite that loss. Cristobal is just an all time choker.

I think that pre-season polls are dumb. Polls shouldn’t come out until after Week 4 or 5.

This weeks AP poll was particularly bad. Great example was Michigan jumping USC. Sure Michigan won and USC didn’t, but 2 weeks ago USC beat Michigan by 3 scores. Makes no sense.

I'm more dumbfounded as to why South Florida is ranked above us playing in a G5 league while also getting destroyed at Miami this season
